Mugler Is Playing Power Games For its FW26 Campaign
Starring Vivian Jenna Wilson, exploring seduction and control.
Mugler is asking who really holds the power. For Fall/Winter 2026, the brand is getting into power games with “The Commander,” a new campaign starring Vivian Jenna Wilson.
Photographed by Robi Rodriguez, the campaign places Wilson in a series of surreal, art-house images where authority, desire and eroticism constantly shift. One moment she’s commanding, the next she’s observing, obeying or refusing, turning power into something far more fluid than the traditional idea of who gets to hold it.
The campaign marks the second collection from creative director Miguel Castro Freitas‘ “Trilogy of Glorified Clichés,” which looks at the archetypes that have shaped Mugler over the years. This time, the focus is power dressing: not simply as a symbol of status, but as something to play with, perform and ultimately reclaim.
And naturally, the brand isn’t interested in keeping things subtle. Tailoring, sensual silhouettes and exaggerated forms collide with a distinctly theatrical sense of glamor, while Rodriguez’s imagery pushes the collection into a world where domination and vulnerability can exist at the same time.
At the center of it all is a question that feels very Mugler: what happens when you stop playing by someone else’s rules?
The collection releases in October 2026, so head to the brand’s website to stay updated.
