Tekla's Terry Towelling Collection Campaign Is an Ode to Self-Care Rituals

Captured at a quaint Finnish sauna.

Tekla has debuted its upcoming Towelling Collection comprised of its signature towels and bathrobes, as well as new bathmats.

In anticipation of the launch, the Scandinavian brand shot a campaign at a quaint sauna in Finland in the middle of winter. “In Finland, there are two million saunas and only five million people. Here, a visit to the sauna is a ritual of care,” stated Josefine Skomars in an essay. “There are physical benefits of the extreme temperature shifts and the rush of endorphins flushing the body — but perhaps most important is the moment to oneself that the sauna offers.”

Fans of the label can expect the terry offerings to be available in four new colorways alongside the bathmats. The towels are crafted from 100% organic cotton and feature a heavy 600-gram weave that’s soft on the skin. Meanwhile, the hooded robes arrive in an oversized fit and provide the right amount of absorbency.

Take a closer look at the campaign above. Tekla’s Spring 2022 Terry Towelling Collection will be available online in mid-February.
