Emerging Brand Lilith NYC Aims To Champion Women in the Sneaker World
The Caudal Lure sneaker’s colorways are inspired by Queens, New York and the Tamil culture.
Lilith NYC is a new footwear brand created by women, for women. Founder Sarah Sukumaran established the label as a response to the lack of sneakers available for female consumers.
Aesthetics meet functionality in the Caudal Lure, in which its name derives from the mimicry used by snakes to lure prey using their tails. The brand’s inaugural silhouette arrives in two colorways — “Concrete Jungle Green” and “Amberlou Brick” — that pay tribute to the essence of Queens, New York and the island life of Tamil culture. Premium materials such as pebbled leather, suede and neoprene envelop the upper, while a lightweight Vibram® sole rounds out the design.
The Caudal Lure is now available on Lilith NYC for $225 USD and comes in women’s sizing.
