The Brooklyn Museum To Host an Exhibition in Honor of Virgil Abloh

Following the late designer’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition.

The Brooklyn Museum announced that it will host an exhibition in memory of the late Virgil Abloh. The event is a sequel to the explorative matter showcased in “Figures of Speech” — curated by Michael Darling and Antwaun Sargent.

“Figures of Speech” featured a range of mediums including art, design, music and architecture. Although details have not been unveiled regarding the upcoming installation, fans can expect an immersive space created by Rem Koolhaas, founder of the architectural firm OMA*AMO. Its predecessor was intended to be a mid-career survey and has had a U.S. world tour, with its most recent stop in Qatar.

The exhibition will be held at the Brooklyn Museum from July 1, 2022, to January 29, 2023.
