Paris Fashion Week Announces FW22 Schedule
Highlights include an Off-White™ show dedicated to Virgil Abloh, as well as newcomers like VTMNTS.
Fashion Month for the Fall/Winter 2022 season is finally here, following January’s couture and menswear shows. The Fédération de la Couture et de la Mode has announced the full schedule for Paris Fashion Week, which will feature a total of 45 physical shows from February 28 to March 8.
Off-White™ will showcase a presentation paying tribute to the late Virgil Abloh on February 28 at 8 p.m., followed by runway shows from major labels like Dior, Chloé, Saint Laurent, Loewe, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Miu Miu. Marine Serre will be making a runway comeback after seasons of digital presentations on March 4 at 9 p.m. Meanwhile, brands like Lanvin have decided to remain digital with a virtual show on March 5.
Newly joining the roster is The Row, which will be holding a clients-only runway on March 2. VTMNTS, Vetements‘ new sub-label, is set to make its PFW debut on March 4. Other standouts include RUI, the rising brand led by Chinese designer Rui Zhou.
Elsewhere, Louis Vuitton, which usually presents on the last day of PFW, is scheduled to show on March 7 instead.
