Pharrell's Humanrace Expands Body Care Range With Humidifying Cream
A hydrating formula packed with Bakuchiol.
Pharrell Williams continues to expand his Humanrace line with a new body care product. Following up on its soap-free Body Bars, the label is set to release a new Humidifying Body Cream.
The moisturizer is a rich, hydrating formula that works to smooth and firm the skin. Designed to use after cleansing and exfoliating, the product — created with consultation from the musician-entrepreneur’s dermatologist Dr. Elena Jones — is filled with Bakuchiol, a retinol-like ingredient that mimics the effects of Vitamin A.
“Humidity brings essential moisture to the skin that you may otherwise be missing. I carve out time each morning to take care of myself and it’s important when moisturizing to not just focus on your face, but your entire body as well,” Pharrell shares in a press release. Dr. Jones further explains: “We chose Bakuchiol, a relatively new ingredient to the skincare industry, as one of our key ingredients in the Humidifying Body Cream. It is plant-derived, gentler, yet equally as effective as retinol.” She adds that the ingredient helps with improving the skin’s elasticity and texture, and also works on sensitive skin.
Created with sustainability in mind, the Humidifying Body Cream is packaged in a 51% post-consumer recycled refillable jar. The formula itself is is cruelty-free, fragrance-free and vegan, as well as dermatologist tested and approved.
Take a closer look at the product down below. Priced at $54 USD, the Humidifying Body Cream launches on March 31 on the Humanrace website. The refill will retail for $50 USD.
