Netflix Adds "Short-Ass Movies" Category Thanks to Pete Davidson and Gunna's 'SNL' Sketch
Consisting of films that are less than one hour and 40 minutes.
Netflix has added a new category to their platform: “Short-Ass Movies,” and it’s all thanks to a Saturday Night Live sketch Pete Davidson and Gunna participated in recently.
In the SNL sketch, Davidson complains over the selection of lengthy movies. “Three hours, 47 minutes? Bro, you must be crazy. No thanks, Imma watch a short-ass movie like Driving Miss Daisy,” raps the comedian.
Netflix responds to the sketch by quote-tweeting the clip and writing, “Good idea.” Since then, the category has been added to the streamer with a variety of films, such as Just Like Heaven, Project X, Scary Movie 4, which all fall under the one hour and 40 minute mark.
