ROTATE Launches Bridal Wear for the First Time
Classic silhouettes updated with the Copenhagen brand’s playful aesthetic.
Copenhagen-based label ROTATE is launching bridal wear for the very first time.
Dubbed “ROTATE WEDDING,” the collection is comprised of 10 wedding dresses infused with ROTATE’s bold and maximalist style. Classic silhouettes are given the ROTATE makeover while arriving in white and cream colors. Standouts include a ’90s-inspired gown with puff sleeves and an open back, as well as a mini dress with bow detailing. Other design elements such as ruffles and high slits add to the collection.
“It has been a dream for us since the beginning to try our hands at bridalwear, and we can finally unveil our 10-piece wedding dress collection, which is all about fusing bridal fashion with ROTATE’s playful mood,” ROTATE’s creative directors Thora Valdimars and Jeanette Madsen share in a press release. “We wanted to break all the rules associated with bridalwear as our main inspiration came from the ROTATE woman who is not afraid to take sartorial risks, even on her big day.” They add: “The creative process started with going through our archives to find the shapes and silhouettes that we loved for a wedding dress, reimagined in creams and whites and with added details of lace, faux feathers, ruffles and sequins.”
