Rihanna Joins 'Forbes' Annual Billionaires List for the First Time
She is the world’s richest female musician.
Rihanna has officially joined Forbes iconic list of worldwide billionaires. The singer-slash-entrepreneur has ranked #1,729 on the list.
According to the outlet, her net worth is $1.7 billion USD, which she’s earned thanks to the success of her career and various businesses — Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty. Now the musician is officially recognized as the first billionaire of her home country, Barbados.
Rihanna manifested her success over a decade ago. In a 2008 interview, she was asked about where she sees herself in 10 years. At the time she replied, “That’s a cool question. In 10 years, I want to have already started my family and have some businesses of my own. A fashion line, a makeup line, and I still want to be doing what I’m doing at a much bigger capacity — by the grace of God!”
Other A-Listers to be recognized as billionaires this year are Kim Kardashian with a net worth of $1.8 billion USD and her ex Kanye West, who has a net worth of $2 billion USD.
