Check Out the Top 10 Most Streamed Artists of 2022
Did your favorites make the list?
The first half of 2022 has been filled with great music, and now we’re learning which artists are most favored in the U.S. so far. Chart Data revealed the 10 most streamed artists of 2022 with Drake taking the leading spot with 3 billion streams.
Considering the success of Drake’s latest album, Certified Lover Boy, this doesn’t come as a surprise. Since its release in September 2021, the LP has spent 37 weeks on the Billboard 200 — five of those weeks were spent in the No. 1 spot.
So far, Taylor Swift is the most streamed female artist in the U.S. She’s also the only woman on the list, coming in at No. 3 with 2.5 billion streams. Swift has put out a number of projects in the last few months as part of her process to own her catalog; she’s been re-recording her previous albums. Her latest to drop was Red (Taylor’s Version) in November 2021. The LP has spent 27 weeks on the Billboard 200 and shows no sign of disappearing.
Other artists to make the top 10 list are The Weeknd, Kanye West and Eminem. See the full list in the tweet below.
