Nike and Patta's "Pure Platinum" Air Max 1 Gets an Official Release Date
The next phase of “The Next Wave.”
Marking the next phase of Nike and Patta’s ongoing partnership, a new colorway of the duo’s collaborative Air Max 1 silhouette has finally been given its official release date.
Part of Nike and Patta‘s “The Next Wave” collaboration which kicked off in 2021, the sneaker has already been released in a number of bold colorways, with the latest “Pure Platinum” offering first teased back in June. Fusing the now-iconic wave pattern with Nike’s signature Air Max silhouette, the newest iteration features Patta’s logo on the shoe’s tongue and sock liner.
Recently unveiled in a bright orange colorway, the new sneaker is decidedly more subtle, featuring a clean white upper complete with gray accents and silver logos. Joining the likes of “Noise Aqua,” “Rush Maroon” and “Black,” the “Pure Platinum” colorway is one for true minimalists.
The new “Pure Platinum” Air Max 1 will be available for purchase from August 26 on the Nike x Patta website alongside in select Patta stores.
