A.P.C. Releases Exclusive Olive Oil

Designer olives anyone?

French fashion label A.P.C. is diving into food with the release of a very rare olive oil.

Produced exclusively for the brand by the Moulin des Ombres mill at the Château de Montfrin in the Gard region, the liquid gold is precious as it is only produced in small patches. The certified organic oil originally comes from Tuscany and is pressed using the highest-grade technology to preserve and safeguard its unique flavor.

Bearing a smooth and gentle taste, A.P.C. olive oil is also incredibly bright and green, delivering the right amount of bitterness for an extra punch to the palate. To truly enjoy the one of a kind oil, creative director and founder Jean Touitou recommends, “Take some normal toasted bread, with both ends slightly blackened. Don’t wait for the toast to cool down. Pour a little oil on top and add a bit of salt.”

Joining the special olive oil’s release is a linen tea towel designed by visual artist Mathias Augustyniak from the M/M graphic studio, who also designed the label.

A.P.C. olive oil is available in a 250ml bottle for $20 USD in all stores in Europe and Japan.
