EYTYS FW23 Raises Temperatures With Intimate Graphic Prints

Elevating streetwear with a tender embrace.

Stockholm-based brand EYTYS looks to the past for inspiration for its Fall/Winter 2023 Ready-to-Wear Menswear collection.

The label’s latest offering artfully uses a screen print from the 1978 film, Rockers, capturing moments of intimacy and intrigue. Worn leather jackets reveal naked silhouettes in a state of play upon closer inspection. Meanwhile, lovers shotgunning smoke into each other’s mouths makes several appearances on loose-fitting shirts and mini skirts.

The collection embodies a relaxed sense of cool as painterly designs are paired with elevated streetwear essentials. Camel bucket hats deliver a measured dose of reserved swagger, while black pleated tennis skirts are easily Wednesday Addams-approved. Varsity style sweaters are contrasted with edgy denim, split at the legs with zippers. Versatile jeans are a recurring character as a true blue pair is outfitted with snap closures along the sides. Elsewhere, a brown monochromatic outfit stands out amongst the pack as it boasts a chocolate wool overcoat, a beige knit three-quarter zip and wide-legged cords that exude a specific ’70s type of bravado.
