FLANNELS Adds Emerging Sustainable Brand GBADEBO to Its Exclusive Roster
Following the young Mancunian designer’s win at BBC 3’s show ‘The Drop.’
FLANNELS is all set to introduce GBADEBO to its exclusive roster. Some might remember the sustainable streetwear brand after the young Mancunian designer won BBC 3’s show The Drop.
GBADEBO’s primary mission is to promote conscious practices within the fashion industry. The label aims to re-educate consumer habits through interactive collections and up-cycling workshops. Founder Kemi Gbadebo, who has previously collaborated with brands like The North Face, adidas, Ellesse and Depop, specializes in reworking damaged or unwanted textiles into fresh streetwear pieces.
The brand’s latest collection redefines sustainable fashion by drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of the ’90s. Gbadebo creatively reinvents classic streetwear silhouettes, infusing them with eco-consciousness. Her debut collection goes beyond traditional thrifting and up-cycling, proving that sustainability can coexist with style and offer a conscious means of self-expression.
The full collection will launch online on October 5, followed by a physical pop-up opening at FLANNELS Liverpool on October 19, before moving to FLANNELS X in London on October 21.
