Honestly, there are no rules in makeup. You’re supposed to have fun with your glam and go hard or go home; however, this beauty editor always finds himself in the space of adhering to those invisible beauty standards such as: You can either have a bold eye or lip, but NEVER both. Showing this girlie just how wrong I was is Jennifer Lopez, who recently hit the scene with a fierce beat that just…slays.

The legendary icon paired smoked-out grey eyeshadow with bold fuchsia lips, straying from her usual radiant sun-kissed look. This stunning choice created a striking juxtaposition with her captivating eye makeup, leaving our jaws dropped.

One thing is for certain though, with the elevated and elaborate glam, her hairstylist Lorenzo Martin knew to style Lopez’s inches into a chic, ballerina bun to give way to the “boom kat” of the beat.
