Nickelodeon Star Drake Bell Is Missing
Following years of substance abuse.
UPDATE (April 14, 2023): Drake Bell has been found, safe and sound, as the former actor tweeted on Thursday afternoon, “You leave your phone in the car and don’t answer for the night and this?”
The Drake & Josh star was mistakenly reported missing and endangered on Wednesday as the Daytona Beach Police Department announced its search for him. Bell is currently in contact with law enforcement.

Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has gone missing.
The Daytona Beach Police Department reported that the Drake & Josh actor’s whereabouts were unknown, announcing that they were “looking for Jared Bell,” adding that “he is considered missing and endangered.” Bell was last seen on Wednesday, April 12 in a grey BMW.
The former actor was going through a separation with his wife Janey Von Schmeling earlier this year, entering treatment for substance abuse after he was seen huffing balloons in a car with his son in the back seat. He pled guilty to child endangerment in 2021. Bell has a troubled history as he was charged with driving under the influence in 2015 and allegedly sent inappropriate DMs to a concert go-er in 2017.
