Martha Stewart Gets a "Hair Dusting" Because Her Flight Was Canceled

Martha Stewart is the Queen of showing the girlies how to be alluring and seductive. In a two-part debut, the star revealed a new hair trim paired with a sultry pout — things we love to see= this.
At 81 years young, the icon took to Instagram to show off her subtle “hair dusting,” which means she’s letting us know she keeps her hair maintenance in rotation as “hair dust” is simply having the dead ends of your hair trimmed. For hair enthusiasts, we understand how important it is to have those ends clipped for maximum hair health and growth — and apparently, Stewart is showing us that she’s true to this, with the rest of us being new to this.
In true mature woman fashion, Stewart gave us the details of what led up to the trim. “My flight to Chicago was canceled today.” The first lesson here is always to treat yourself when a flight is canceled. Duly noted.
She went on to say, “I missed my speaking engagement at a huge gathering hosted by @beckershealthcare. This is the first time in my career that I missed a contracted appearance and felt really disappointed.” These are the things that make you feel the second-handed sting.
However, her newfound time was well used. She visited NYC-based stylist John Barrett for face-framing layers and lightly bumped under ends to add flair and volume. “The new ‘do is refreshing and lovely,” Stewart exclaims, and we honestly have to agree.
