It’s been a while since Thirty Seconds to Mars released an album, but the wait will be over soon. Lead singer Jared Leto took to social media to share an update on the band.

“Getting ready to release new music for the first time in five years,” he captioned an Instagram reel. The update comes about two weeks after Thirty Seconds to Mars announced they’re performing at this year’s Lollapalooza, which marks their return to the music festival after 17 years.

“ANNOUNCEMENT: MARS TO PLAY LOLLAPALOOZA 23!!” read a caption on the band’s official Instagram account. “We are so excited to be back on stage at @lollapalooza for the third time. Here’s a pic of us from 2003 and a video from 2006. Unforgettable memories. We are so grateful and can’t wait to see you there!!!”

30 Seconds to Mars currently has five studio albums — their latest, America, was released in 2018. For more, check out their latest posts below.
