Weekday's AI-Inspired "Alter Ego" Collection Explores What Makes Humans Unique

Taking cues from digital designs.

In the midst of AI-powered innovations, Weekday‘s new “Alter Ego” womenswear collection sets out to explore what makes humans unique.

Hoping to inspire its consumers to “trust your instincts and live out your expression,” the limited-edition, 20-piece offering takes cues from digital design and multi-dimensional personalities. Comprising deconstructed denim, sculptural nylon and light layers, the collection aims to encourage its wearer to mix and match and unlock new looks.

Revisiting items from Weekday’s heritage, “Alter Ego” boasts contrasting colors, unexpected layers and concealed detailing. Standout pieces include an off-shoulder maxi dress, a cut-out linen blazer and jeans with a foldable curtain which turns into a skirt.

“With AI on the rise, what makes humans unique? This collection manifests our whims, personal traits and complex consciousness,” explains designer Alice Shulman. “Some say, ‘seeing is believing,’ in this case wearing is believing. And there’s no right way to wear it.”

Take a look at the AI-inspired collection above, and head to Weekday’s website to shop.
