Rita Ora's Met Gala Manicure Was the Main Character of the Evening

We love a statement moment.

Rita Ora knows how to werk a red carpet appearance. Whether we’re obsessing over her hair and makeup details or trying to figure out what designer she’s wearing — no stone is ever left unturned. However, for the 2023 Met Gala, the starlet looked amazing but it was her manicure that had our immediate attention.

While we don’t know the official details of her makeup, it’s safe to assume that a Charlotte Tilbury‘s team member was responsible for her sultry beat that perfectly complemented her stunning Prabal Gurung number. She rocked her signature smoky eye, “after sex” nude lip and a blush so soft that it mirrored the glam version of cashmere. These details paired with her expensive jewelry paint quite the visual picture but her nails — her nails owned the spotlight.

A chain manicure detailing on the star’s nails took the nostalgic nail piercing trend to the next level. Each of Ora’s nails was adorned with a jeweled chain that extended almost a foot long. The burning question here is “Are they press-ons?” and “How did she eat?” Because these nails weren’t meant for anything besides causing a fierce stir.

Are we taking manicure tips from Rita Ora for the summer? The question is on the table but for now, we’ve included a closer look ahead.
