All the Best Looks from Met Gala 2023 Afterparties

After most of our favorite celebrities and influencers alike came and ate at this year’s Met Gala, it’s only natural that we then turn our attention to the second most important event of the night: the after parties.
From Stella McCartney‘s Casamigos party and Dua Lipa‘s VIRGO adventure to Janelle Monae‘s The Standard soiree, the Met afterparties are another opportunity for the industry’s elite to showcase more of their creative style — with a little more wearability. With this year’s theme being an ode to Karl Lagerfeld, plenty of Chanel looks graced the red carpet at the Met, swapped for sultry, sheer looks and cut-out mini-dresses at this year’s afterparties.
For example, Kendall Jenner swapped her lavish, sequinned ensemble for a dainty, sheer look courtesy of Albanian designer Nensi Dojaka, while Jenna Ortega went from full-on Wednesday to boudoir-core bride in a chic little corset dress and stockings. Elsewhere, the likes of Gigi Hadid and Devon Aoki also embraced the sheer fabrics trend, while Billie Eilish opted for comfort over costume.
