Jennifer Lopez knows how to command a good slayage. She always knows how to make a statement with her fabulous hairstyles. From sleek ponytails to amazing highlights, she definitely has a way of turning heads. But her latest look is truly jaw-dropping: A shaggy, ’70s-inspired chop that has left us speechless.

Lopez turned to hairstylist Lorenzo Martin, who provided her with a result of deliciously rugged layers with a few extensions infused throughout her natural hair to give density and length to the overall look. Martin finessed his shears to cultivate a few locks into a face-framing fringe that completely snatched Lopez’s face. With the melted honey highlights, it’s giving “6 Train Jenny” meets Farrah Fawcett from her Charlie’s Angels days.

JLo’s ’70s layers with heavy but fluffy bangs are good for a fresh summer look without chopping off too much hair. It can make hair look fuller and thicker without being heavy like a wig or too many extensions.

Take a closer look ahead.
