New York Fashion Week is officially back and beauty has become just as central to the Spring/Summer 2027 runway as the clothes themselves. Whether it’s oversized dolly lashes at Kim Shui or hairy claws at SHOWPONY, the runways are packed with beauty moments that push past the usual clean girl details. Whether you’re in search of a new eye look to experiment with or just want to see what the hottest brands are cooking up, the SS27 runways are delivering all of the beauty looks we can’t stop thinking about.

Ahead, we’re rounding up the standout beauty moments across all of the SS27 shows.

Diesel’s Smudged Lips

Diesel‘s SS27 show at Milan Fashion Week made a case for making out. To match the seductive vibes, models wore smudged lipstick looks executed by makeup artist Inge Grognard. Beyond that, the glam also included fluffy brows, dewy skin and a few unsmudged red lips.

Alexander McQueen’s Droplet Nails

For Alexander McQueen‘s SS27 show in London, nail artist Ama Quashie created sheer, ombre nails adorned with 3D droplets. The nail looks were paired with shaven eyebrows and smokey cut-crease eye looks made possible by Daniel Sällström.

Yuhan Wang’s Bedhead

Messy hair is so back, and Yuhan Wang is here to prove it. At London Fashion Week, hairstylists Stacey Wright and James Parr brought touches of sleeping beauty-esque messiness to voluminous, bouncy waves. Meanwhile, makeup artist Bea Sweet completed the beauty looks with lace imprints and what she calls “sweaty dream cheeks makeup.”

Di Petsa’s Iridescent Highlight

Di Petsa is constantly channeling its feminine energy and its SS27 show at London Fashion Week tapped further into the mood with blinding, pink-hued highlight and endless amounts of body shimmer. Made possible by makeup artist Emma Regan, the looks also included realistic tears in honor of the “Holy Milk” theme.

Luar’s Punk Drag Aesthetic

At New York Fashion Week, Luar is constantly setting the beauty bar higher. For its SS27 show, makeup artist Andrew Dahling used MAC Cosmetics to execute what he calls “Christopher Columbus 1492 meets Christopher Street 1982,” referencing ballroom drag, punk aesthetics and the Tudor era. The looks included bedazzled masks, graphic liner and tons of glitter.

Thom Browne’s Bug-Inspired Details

Made possible by makeup artist Aaron de Mey and Byredo, Thom Browne made a case for bug glam at its SS27 show. The beauty looks featured watercolor-esque eyeshadow, neon pink blush and statement lips.

Kim Shui’s Giant Lashes

Kim Shui is known to highlight maximalist beauty details on the runway, and the brand’s SS27 show at NYFW was no different. With the help of Romero Jennings and MAC Cosmetics, the brand championed Beijing opera-inspired looks featuring oversized lashes, red lips and glowing skin. Plus, Krystal Oh and Dashing Diva created feather nails to tie it all together.

Anna Sui’s Romantic Shimmer

Keyed by icon Pat McGrath, Anna Sui‘s Spring/Summer 2027 beauty looks were all about the ethereal vibes. Models wore the brand’s signature purple hue in the form of glittery, diffused shadow. Meanwhile, hairstylist Garren used R+Co BLEU products to execute ’70s mermaid waves to complete the look.

Conner Ives’ Party Girl Glam

For his NYFW debut, Conner Ives tapped makeup artist Aaron de Mey to dream up party girl glam. Inspired by references like Meryl Streep, Lauren Hutton, Annie Lennox and Naomi Campbell, the four distinct looks made use of carved out cheekbones, shimmery cut creases and a bold red lip.

SHOWPONY’s Hair Claws

At SHOWPONY’s sophomore show at New York Fashion Week, the brand brought strange beauty to the runway. In addition to a plethora of hairy ensembles, the brand also tapped nail artist Naomi Yasuda to bring to life sets of nails adorned with long locks.

Diane von Furstenburg’s Glittery Grunge Eyes

Diane von Furstenburg made its return to NYFW for the SS27 season and the makeup looks were just as bold as the garments. Executed by Emi Kaneko using Estée Lauder products, the glam included sultry shadow with touches of glitter and glowy lip combos.

Proenza Schouler’s Graphic Eyeliner

On the fashion month runway, normal winged liner doesn’t cut it anymore. So, makeup artist Dick Page dreamed up messy, colorful liner for Proenza Schouler SS27. The looks included everything from toned-down, naturally glowy skin to maximalist, pastel-hued eyeliner.

Nostalgic Crimped Hair at Christian Siriano

Crimped hair was on full display at Christian Siriano‘s SS27 show. While the makeup itself leaned into smokey eyeliner and flushed cheeks, Lacy Redway and TRESemmé brought our 2000s dreams to life with crimped stripes for added texture.
