Kid Cudi x MSCHF Trip Out on a Super Normal 2 Collaboration

Kid Cudi is tapping into his psychedelic roots, unveiling a Super Normal 2 collaboration with boundary breaking brand MSCHF.
Debuting his latest collaboration during his headlining performance at Lyrical Lemonade‘s Summer Smash Festival in Chicago, the Moon Man is partnering with the viral label for a rave-ready design. Covered in a kaleidoscope of colors and textures, the shoe arrives with a fun fleece upper doused in shades of blue, pink and red, reminiscent of 3D glasses. Laces put you in a hypnotic trance, welcoming swirls of fuchsia and sky blue. Meanwhile, the tongue is as cuddly as a teddy bear, thanks to its fuzzy azaela-tinted material, boasting MSCHF branding. Elsewhere, the sole takes a brief intermission from the party, imparting a hint of gray, spliced with turquoise.
A closer inspection reveals a hint to the sneaker’s name as the sample tag reads “Insano.” While the sneaker delivers ten-fold on visuals, Kid Cudi is allowing the design to speak for itself, keeping the shoe free of his name.
