Watch the Teaser for NewJeans' Upcoming Track "ASAP"
Featuring on their upcoming EP, ‘Get Up.’
NewJeans are back to tease their upcoming single “ASAP” with a 38-second visualizer that seemingly pays tribute to the iconic Powerpuff Girls.
The teaser comes after the K-pop group announced the highly-anticipated release of their second EP, Get Up, which is set to feature “ASAP” as its first single. Within the new video, all five members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein, all appear in an ethereal forest location, donning bright blonde hair and fairycore fits.
As they transition from daytime to nighttime, the lyrics “ASAP baby, hurry up, don’t be lazy” can be heard in the background, giving fans an insight into what the track might sound like and what it’ll be about — though admittedly, that much seems pretty clear.
The track joins a list of six songs on the EP, including “Super Shy,” “ETA,” “Cool With You,” “New Jeans” and “Get Up” — with the new record set to land on July 21.
