MSCHF's Big Red Boots Are Back
Here’s how to get your hands on them.
A few months back, MSCHF was responsible for what was possibly the most divisive release of the year — landing in the form of, yep, you guessed it: the Big Red Boots.
Despite the multitude of “WTF”-based responses, the novelty shoes resulted in a sell-out release, likely due to fashion’s fascination with inflatable-inspired dressing and the surprisingly chic outfits that dominated our Instagram feeds. Following its release, resale prices skyrocketed to over $1,000 USD, and as a result, numerous creators resorted to 3D-printing their own versions with dupes making constant appearances.
Thankfully, purchasing the novelty footwear direct from the source is even easier now, as MSCHF just announced a restock of its most controversial release, landing not long after the creative agency announced its “Hot or Not” AI chatbot and two-way sneakers.
MSCHF’s Big Red Boots will return to the MSCHF Sneakers app today from 2 pm EDT, likely to be sold at the same $350 USD price point.
In other footwear news, Martine Rose debuted another Nike Shox MR4 collab on the runway.
