UPDATE: Since teasing the forthcoming Nike Shox Mule MR4 at fashion week, Martine Rose and Nike have shared official images of the new collaboration, confirming the two “Scuba Blue” and “Safety Orange” colorways. Drawing inspiration from ’90s goalkeeper jerseys, the footwear offering features black soles and gradient uppers, complete with the silhouette’s signature Shox pistons.

Take an official look at the shoes above, set to release on July 25 via Martine Rose and Nike SNKRS on July 27.

Original story: This just in: another Martine Rose and Nike Shox Mules collaboration is coming. And it’s good.

Fresh off the back of the designer’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway show, a new colorway of the duo’s collaborative Shox silhouette has been spotted in the wild (London) and already we must admit, we like what we see. Showcased alongside a vibrant collection of oversized T-shirts, dangly pearl necklaces and cropped track jackets, the newest iteration appears to be a paint-splattered teal, purple and black colorway, landing in the same construction as previous pairs.

Elsewhere, the collection was home to two familiar color palettes, arriving in gradient blue/purple and bright orange/neon yellow colorways — but it’s not the first time we’ve seen this ombré colorway, and it won’t be the last. First teased on Instagram, the blue iteration was initially worn by Kendrick Lamar at the Grammys, while Hailey Bieber was recently spotted wearing the orange and yellow colorway.

Little is known about the shoe’s release date at present, but we expect to see them make their official debut pretty soon.

In other footwear news, Nike’s Air Jordan 1 Low got a Flintstone-style makeover.
