Make Your Technicolor Dreams Come True With New Balance's 9060 "Prism Purple"
It’s not for the faint-hearted.
New Balance is tossing quiet luxury to the side this summer with the release of its new 9060 in “Prism Purple.”
Drawing inspiration from the Y2K sneakers of yesteryear, the new-and-improved sneaker takes cues from classic New Balance 99X models, merging vibrant color palettes with futuristic designs.
Landing in a purple, orange, yellow and blue color palette, the 9060 is crafted with a mixture of mesh and leather materials, primarily designed with a purple-hued upper. Orange accents arrive on the signature “N” branding, laces and midsole, with an inner lining designed in black to contrast its otherwise multi-colored exterior. Elsewhere, the sneaker boasts ABZORB and SBS cushioning, with its midsole carefully placed atop a diamond outsole pattern — drawing inspiration from NB’s classic 860 silhouette.
Take a look at New Balance’s 9060 in “Prism Purple” above, set to land via New Balance and select retailers on July 1, for a price of $150 USD.
