Reebok Champions Fashion's Next Generation With "Most Extra" Collection

Extra is always better.

Reebok is ensuring fashion has a bright feature as it celebrates the next generation with the “Most Extra” collection.

“Black and Brown people have been trailblazers of style for generations. These styles, however, haven’t always been met with acceptance and have been deemed ‘ghetto’ or ‘ratchet.’ That is until these looks are adopted by the masses and deemed cool or innovative,” Carmen Andrade Hardaway, Reebok’s Director of Human Rights Now! Product & Apparel Energy Concepts shares in an exclusive press release.

Created to uplift underserved communities, the latest collection showcases a diverse cast of models outfitted in a regal color palette of bright blue, navy and gold. Shiny blue jersey dresses command attention, while maintaining a casual and cool silhouette. Elsewhere, the Reebok logo is proudly displayed across comfy shorts, whereas it rests on the chest of spacious windbreakers. The Club C Extra and LT Court Extra sneakers bulk up the collection’s footwear offering, painted in shades of yellow, blue and black, while boasting a gold lace lock for added oomph.

To commemorate the release of the “Most Extra” collection, Reebok is also donating $15,000 USD to the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Social Justice Center, a first-of-its-kind initiative in higher education created to address the issues faced by BIPOC students and working professionals by increasing the number of BIPOC youth in creative fields such as fashion.

Take a closer look at Reebok’s “Most Extra” collection in the gallery above, which is available to shop on the brand’s online store.
