An Official Look at the Above the Clouds x ASICS GT-2160
Arriving on October 13.
(UPDATE) September 28, 2023: The Above the Clouds x ASICS GT-2160 has finally been given a release date as the “Cream/Shamrock Green” colorway is expected to touch down on October 13at 11am EDT via ASICS at a price of $150 USD. Living up to its name, the sneaker features grassy shades of green throughout its design with metallic silver detailing and cream laces.

The ASICS GT-2160 has lived many lives as the sneaker was initially introduced as an affordable option for runners.
Since its first release, the silhouette has been elevated to new heights, welcoming a refresh via ASICS’s collaboration with Stefon Diggs, not to mention the recent Cecile Bahnsen and Dime crossover. Taking a nature-inspired approach, the intricately designed shoe makes light work of a gleaming metallic silver, ocean blue and crisp, fresh green. A mixture of materials can be found as mesh touches the collar and heel, while the toebox and midfoot are comprised of a translucent TPE. A sky blue insole reveals special branding, while soft green laces are held down by a bronze dubrae.
The new GT-2160 is Above the Clouds’ third collaboration with ASICS, following the 10th anniversary commemorating GEL-1090 in 2020 and the SKYCOURT, which was released in 2021.
