The Air Jordan 1 Low "Sashiko" Is a Work of Art

Inspired by Japanese Wabi-Sabi.

Inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Sashiko” is a majestic masterpiece as the traditional aesthetic focuses on appreciating the beauty in imperfections.

Utilizing a white canvas as its base, the latest Air Jordan 1 Low boasts distressed denim uppers decorated with intricate exposed stitching created by the Japanese needlework technique, mirroring waves crashing on the shore. The heel flaunts embroidered versions of Jordan’s iconic ball-and-wing logos, while black tumbled leathers covers the Swoosh and heel counter. Staying aligned with its natural aesthetic, the insoles are fashioned from fork, featuring quirky mismatched graphics and debossed Jumpman logos on the tongue tab. Artfully worn midsoles and black rubber outsoles complete the design.

Take a closer look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “Sashiko” above and stay tuned for more updates.
