Jordan Brand and Free The Youth Unveil Their New Collab in a Handcrafted Dreamscape

Launching their second collection with a work of art.

Jordan Brand and Ghanaian creative collective Free The Youth have officially unveiled the campaign for their upcoming collaboration, and it’s a breathtaking fusion of raw art, community and nostalgia.

Shot by creative visionary Ilya Chemetoff, the campaign embraces a hands-on approach in an era dominated by CGI and artificial intelligence. Every backdrop was hand-drawn, painted or clay-sculpted. Bypassing AI or stunt doubles, the Free The Youth crew performed their own high-flying studio stunts live, embodying what they call “cultural stuntmen in motion” — a fearless mindset centered on turning bold imagination into reality.

Drawing inspiration from traditional Ghanaian architecture, vibrant prints and Tema heritage, the visuals seamlessly blend cultural motifs like Sun Man stilt performers with late ‘90s hip-hop. Styled by industry icon Imruh Asha, the resulting aesthetic feels both effortlessly chic and deeply rooted in storytelling, with rich textures, playful proportions and statement pieces built for those who aren’t afraid to take creative risks.

More than just a collection, this release marks a decade-long journey of empowerment from Free The Youth, celebrating how creativity opens doors and builds global community.

The new Free The Youth x Jordan Brand collection drops exclusively online on August 1 at the Free The Youth x Jordan Brad website, followed by a wider global release on the Nike website starting August 15.

In other news, Clarks Originals dropped a new Wallabee Lite silhouette.
