The Air Force Alpha 88 Dominates in Black and White

Originally worn by Michael Jordan.

The Air Force Alpha 88 is mythical shoe as the design was worn by the basketball superstar Michael Jordan after releasing the Air Jordan 2.

Although it never hit shelves at the time, Nike is bringing it back, launching the sneaker in a variety of vintage-inspired colorways. Appearing in a minimalist color palette, the latest Air Force Alpha 88 features a white leather body with a soft “Neutral Grey” covering the Swoosh, collar and eyestays.

Meanwhile, a stark black makes itself known in the form of agile line work around the heel, as well as enveloping the midfoot strap. The elevated sole unites all three shades, resulting in a color-blocked aesthetic.

Available via Nike and select retailers soon, the Air Force Alpha 88 is priced at $140 USD and will be available.
