This KidSuper x LV Camera Bag Is Actually Fully Functional

From Louis Vuitton’s FW23 collection.

It’s been a little while since Pharrell presented his debut menswear collection for Louis Vuitton and still, the brand and its celebrity designers are continuing to make headlines.

As we approach the Fall/Winter 2023 season, the French luxury house is slowly beginning to release its upcoming KidSuper-designed collection, which currently includes a $34,000 USD Embroidered Varsity Blouson and Embroidered Monogram Denim Overshirt priced at $22,400 USD.

However, one of the most notable pieces to land from the collection is undoubtedly the Louis Vuitton Camera Bag. On the outside, the bag seems to resemble a vintage, handheld film camera, but it appears that there’s more than meets the eye. Taking to Instagram to share a closer look, Colm Dillane revealed that the bag is actually a fully functioning camera.

Through his explanation, it appears that the camera possesses the ability to connect to a smartphone, where its video footage can be played directly on the screen. Sharing further proof that it works, Dillane’s post showcased footage shot on the camera, taken as the model was walking across the runway with the bag at Paris Fashion Week.

Dillane’s caption read, “The camera bag not only works as a bag but we also works as a camera. Swipe right to see the view from the bag during the show. Pretty amazing. This unfortunately didn’t make mass production but this is amazing.”

Stay tuned for more details coming soon and take a closer look at the camera/bag in action below.
