Nike SNKRS Commemorates Kobe Day With Exclusive Restocks
Celebrating all things Black Mamba.
Kobe Day is a momentous occasion for sneaker heads and basketball fans alike as August 24 is dedicated to the late NBA star.
Following the release of the Nike Kobe 8 “Halo” for his birthday, Nike is celebrating Black Mamba with a revival of the five-time champion’s Kobe 6 Protro in its highly popular “Grinch” colorway. The “Mambacita Sweet 16” from 2022 is also making an appearance, alongside UNDEFEATED’s Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Hall of Fame” from 2021 and the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Mambacita.”
The launch will keep fans on their toes as the styles are available in limited quantities on a first-come-first-served basis. Additionally, the shoes will be released at a random time on the SNKRS app. A revival of the athlete’s signature line is still in the works, so stay tuned as the Nike Kobe line is going to be releasing hit after hit with upcoming drops of the Kobe 4 Protro “Philly,” Kobe 8 Protro “Venice,” the Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch.”
