Feng Chen Wang Lends Its Deconstructed Spirit to Crocs
Taking over the Siren and Echo clog silhouettes.
Leading Chinese designer Wang Fengchen is lending her deconstructed and disruptive spirit to a new collaboration which sees her eponymous label Feng Chen Wang joining forces with Crocs.
Resulting in a two-piece collection that includes the Siren Clog and Echo Clog, the collaboration merges Fengchen’s functional and directional vision with Crocs’ popular silhouettes, drawing inspiration from the designer’s Chinese heritage. Arriving in unisex sizing, the clogs fuse elements of both Eastern and Western culture and both land in a sleek black colorway.
First up, the Echo clog boasts a removable ankle cuff which allows its wearer to convert the clog into a short boot. Similarly, the Siren silhouette also features a removable cuff, designed in a three-in-one style which converts the heeled clog into a knee-length, biker boot. Both iterations feature signature FCW design details, like metallic accents and leather straps, alongside the classic black color palette.
Take a look at the new Crocs x Feng Chen Wang collection above, set to launch via FCW’s website on September 1 at 10 am BST.
