Smell Just Like Harry Styles Thanks to the New Pleasing Fragrances
Featuring three “skin-on-skin” scents.
Harry Styles shook celebrity-turned-beauty founder tables when he boldly debuted his gender-bending brand, Pleasing, in 2021. Since then, Pleasing has captivated fans with a wide range of captivating nail polish shades, skincare essentials, indulgent body care products and limited-edition makeup collections. And now, building upon its success in these niche categories, Pleasing has announced its journey into the world of fragrances.
We know Harry Styles to be a man of impeccable taste, so the debut of the brand opening the scent category was always going to be nothing short of amazing. Starting the launch off on the “good foot,” Pleasing tapped French perfumer Jérôme Epinette to ideate the scents. Known for his unique and creative approach to fragrance creation, Epinette stands as an industry titan, with one of his most notable creations being Byredo‘s “Gypsy Water.”
Pleasing’s three inaugural scents, “Closeness,” “Rivulets,” and “Bright, Hot” aim to evoke a sense of warmth, each rooted in a particular feeling. Created in partnership with fragrance maker Robertet, “Bright, Hot” arrives as a woody amber scent, featuring top notes of plum and tobacco alongside notes of cedarwood, tonka bean, vanilla and crisp amber.
“Closeness” fuses Australian pink pepper extract, cardamom and clean sheets, along with notes of orris butter, carrot seed and bamboo, rounded out by hits of salted musk, Indian papyrus and cashmere woods. Finally, “Rivulets” offers a fresh and floral amber scent, with notes of lemon, black pepper and white linen, rounded out by poplin blossom, ambroxan and skin musk.
