Aries and Reebok Cast a Spell on the Classic Leather

Magic lovers unite.

London-based label Aries has generously graced us with its first collaboration of 2024, this time teaming up with footwear pioneers, Reebok. Taking over the signature Classic Leather, the streetwear label has delved into the world of witchcraft and wizardry for its inspiration.

Tasked with the challenge of revitalizing the classic silhouette without losing its integrity, Aries and founder Sofia Prantera reimagined the cult-loved shoe with a faint aqua hue all over the upper, complete with a touch of gold stamped across the tongue and logos.

“Reebok’s Classic Leather is such an important symbol of British style, so it was very flattering to be asked to interpret it,” says Sofia Prantera, Creative Director and Founder of Aries. “The concept was to embrace the simplicity of Classic Leather and respect its flawless design and long history. How can we give the shoe an Aries twist without compromising its simplicity?” she adds.

Crafted from premium leather, the shoe features a reflective heel alongside a gold embroidered “Aries” logo and gold wizard graphic. Elsewhere, the collaborative kicks boast a vintage-inspired tongue, complete with exposed foam and a secret message which lands on the inner tongue. Finally, the shoe features tonal aqua laces and arrive in a custom shoe box with special gold detailing.

Take a look at the new silhouette above, slated for release on January 19 via Aries, followed by a wider release on January 24 via Reebok and select retailers.
