Cheap Monday and Slam Jam Drop a Jean-ius Collection
Featuring seven mid ’00s denim silhouettes.
Cheap Monday has long been a staple at Italy‘s luxury retailer, SLAM JAM. Now, the duo is taking their partnership to the next level with a new denim drop.
The “Bootleg” collection channels mid ’00s nostalgia with a rebellious, “we’re with the band” energy. The lineup embraces the chaos of a pre-party feeling — think safety pins, glitter, stripes, last-minute tweaks and everything that transforms an old pair of denim into a statement piece.
“There’s a tenderness when thinking about the process of getting ready, promptly disrupted by bold graphics, safety pins and glittery stripes and stars,” reads the press release. From low-rise bootcut silhouettes to hyper-flared cuts, the collection captures the gritty yet classic Cheap Monday aesthetic, influenced by post-punk, pop and modern music legends.
The seven-piece collection features the “Bootleg Flare Low” in two styles — “Americana” and “Stud,” as well as the “Sleezie” in a colorful graphic and a dark blue option (which is also available in men’s sizing.) The capsule also offers the “Messy Pinned” and the skinny “Sleeze Dom” — a black skinny jean with a subtle shine.
The “Bootleg” collection is exclusively available for purchase at SLAM JAM. Click the gallery to see more of the drop.
