Bianca Jagger Stars In YSL's "Libre Flowers & Flames" Campaign
The supermodel’s freedom has been an act of rebellion for her entire life.
YSL Beauty has dropped the final chapter of its “Libre Flowers & Flames” series, starring the iconic supermodel and human rights advocate, Bianca Jagger. In the campaign, Jagger poses against the Los Angeles skyline in all-black clothing, with a bottle of YSL’s “Libre Flowers & Flames” fragrance in her hand.
The new scent has been introduced to the world throughout the year with a four-part campaign, starring global ambassador Dua Lipa, Hailey Bieber, Precious Lee and now, Jagger. Shot and directed by Tyler Mitchell, the series showcases the strength of feminity and how it connects to the perfume’s star note, the lily accord.
“The name of the fragrance means freedom in English and Spanish. I was born in Nicaragua and since then, the pursuit of freedom has been an existential objective in my life. I learned that to be free, my existence had to become an act of rebellion,” said Jagger in an Instagram post.
Juliette Ferret, General Manager for Yves Saint Laurent, reiterated the brand’s excitement for partnering with Jagger, stating: “We are thrilled and honored to collaborate with Bianca Jagger on the Libre Flowers & Flames digital series. Her unwavering pursuit of freedom for all perfectly reflects our ‘Libre’ messaging ambitions and her voice brings added depth and meaning to our project.”
