Heretic Parfum Unveils Vampire-Inspired Fragrance for New 'Nosferatu' Film
Starring Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin and more.
Heretic Parfum is commemorating the release of Robert Eggers’ eagerly awaited film, Nosferatu, with a stunning new fragrance meant to smell like a terrifying vampire.
This limited-edition scent, named the “Nosferatu Eau de Macabre”, is the result of a collaboration between Focus Features and celebrated perfumer Douglas Little. Inspired by the film’s haunting vibe, Little sought to capture the true essence of what a vampire would smell like. The fragrance immerses its wearer in the dark and mysterious realm of Count Orlok, who is also known as Nosferatu or “The Bird of Death” in the film.
This eau de parfum features top notes of lilac and ambrette seed that transition into heart notes of violet, orris root and petrichor. The scent’s base is an intriguing blend of vegan ambergris and oud absolute, mirroring the chilling feeling of a supernatural encounter. This limited-edition release is a collectible treasure for horror lovers, vampire aficionados and anyone intrigued by the Nosferatu films, old and new.
