Paul Mescal Is Selling His Tiny Little Cardigans on Vinted

The ‘Gladiator II’ actor is selling his tour wardrobe via the secondhand clothing app.

Off the back of this summer’s hot boy shorts trend, a new kid is in town for the Fall/Winter season. Pioneered by Paul Mescal during his Gladiator II press tour, tiny shrunken cardigans have become a man’s sluttiest new wardrobe staple. The news gets even better from here, as Mescal just teamed up with Vinted to sell pieces from the aforementioned press tour, and yes — that includes the tiny little cardis in question.

Available exclusively to Vinted members in the U.K., the collection of items includes one-off pieces custom-made for Mescal, alongside some of his favorite archival pieces from the likes of Jimmy Choo, Av Vattev and B.W. Marks. All proceeds from the actor’s wardrobe sales will also be donated to the Irish charity Pieta.

“Paul has always had a strong connection to vintage and pre-loved fashion. He’s often eager to re-wear pieces we’ve styled before or items from his own wardrobe,” explains Mescal’s stylist, Felicity Kay.

“Partnering with Vinted for Paul’s Gladiator II promotion tour made perfect sense as it gave us the opportunity to delve deep into his love for second-hand clothes – in fact, I found a pair of Ben Davis work pants on Vinted, that fit Paul like a dream – no adjustments needed! They became one of his favorite pieces during the tour. But we were equally both excited about finding a way to give the clothes he wore during his tour a second life, so selling them on Vinted felt like the perfect fit, especially with the added bonus of supporting a good cause,” she continues.

Senior director of Luxury at Vinted, Cécile Wickmann, adds “At Vinted we celebrate second-hand fashion, whether it’s for every day or the red carpet. It’s wonderful to see Paul championing pre-loved and vintage fashion as an expression of his personal style but also as a mark of appreciation for fashion history, particularly with vintage and archival pieces.”

Take a look at some of the items on offer on Mescal’s Vinted page above and head to the app to purchase.
