Netflix's Confirms 'You' Final Season Release Date

Goodbye, ‘You.’

1.6K

Netflix announces the return of its hit thriller, You on April 24, 2025.

You has had an iconic run. From Cardi B and Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley) trading Twitter profile pictures to Love Goldberg’s character development, the series has led viewers down a chaotic journey since 20218 — cue Beck and the glass box in the basement.

A new press release from Netflix confirms that Season 5 will be “fifth and final season.” The description reads: “Will Joe Goldberg finally get his judgment day? Fans of the beloved thriller will soon know more about Joe’s fate…”

However, Joe’s fate won’t be revealed until 2025. According to Tudum, Season 5 features Joe Goldberg’s “return to New York to enjoy his happily ever after… until his perfect life is threatened by the ghosts of his past and his own dark desires.”

The season’s trailer features key characters from Season 1 and beyond. One viewer commented, “A season where everyone who survived the previous seasons hunting Joe sounds amazing!!! I really want to see Ellie back. Also would like to see Paco back.”

In July, Badgley reflected on his upcoming finale with Tudum. “Every season they manage to find new space to make it interesting and relevant, And this season, I think somehow coming back to where it started allowed for it to just become grounded in the way that it needs to also have this kind of spectacular finish.”

Stay tuned for updates and view the trailer above.
