Martine Rose and Clarks Present "Coming Up Roses"

The first official campaign from Rose as Clarks’ guest Creative Director.

Martine Rose was named guest Creative Director for Clarks back in May last year and since then, all eyes were on the rising London-based designer to see what would come of her first collection. Previewed during her Spring/Summer 2024 showcase, the inaugural release saw classic silhouettes like the Oxford and the Loafer reinvented through Rose’s lens and now, the first official campaign is here.

Captured by Sharna Osbourne, the “Coming Up Roses” campaign constructs a series of bedroom vignettes, inspired by archival Clarks advertising from the ’80s. The Martine Rose community is pictured lounging atop retro bedsits as they showcase the Oxford, the Loafer and the Sandal reimagined in “Brazen Pink,” “Oxblood” and Black colorways, crafted from 100% recycled nylon fabric.

Completed by the Torhill Hi silhouette, the four-part collection sees chunky platform soles, inflated heels and snake-skin prints redefine what it means to be “smart-casual,” offering an unfamiliar take on classic footwear staples.

Take a closer look at the campaign above and head to Martine Rose’s website now to purchase, with a wider release taking place via Clarks on February 16.

In other news, Sandy Liang debuted a new Salomon collab at NYFW.
