MCM Celebrates Ramadan With New Capsule Collection

Merging modest dressing with MCM’s maverick spirit.

Luxury fashion house MCM just launched its first-ever Ramadan capsule collection, bringing together tradition and contemporary style. Marking a shift towards a more contemporary take on modest dressing, the collection aims to provide a thoughtful offering for the month of Ramadan, whilst creating pieces that celebrate the DNA of MCM.

Crafted from lightweight fabrics, the collection includes a gold sand beige-toned shirt dress, a pyjama trouser set and the signature Lauretos day dress in “Chambray Blue.” Elsewhere, the collection features a Lauretos Silk Scarf and a new Shoulder Bag, crafted from Italian satin and natural Nappa and complete with Swarovski crystals.

Celebrating the new collection is a high-shine campaign lensed by Francesco Scotti and starring Leena Al Ghouti. Aiming to convey a sense of confidence, boldness and individuality, the campaign celebrates MCM’s maverick spirit whilst showcasing chic silhouettes, comfort-oriented design and respect for tradition.

Conceptualized by creative consultant Hanan Houachmi alongside MCM’s creative director Katie Chung and president Sabine Brunner, the Ramadan capsule aims to reflect the brand’s desire to push boundaries and drive innovation.
