Sporty & Rich Teases New adidas SL72 Silhouette
Arriving in a “Sweden-inspired colorway,” in tribute to founder Emily Oberg’s Swedish roots.
Emily Oberg’s Sporty & Rich is back with another stellar adidas collaboration, though this time, it’s not all about the Samba. Off the back of Oberg’s coveted colorways of 2023’s biggest shoe, the founder now has her sights set on a different adidas silhouette. This time, the collaboration centers around the archival SL72 sneaker, drenched in a bright blue and yellow colorway.
“An SL72 in a Sweden-inspired colorway, a nod to my half-Swedish roots,” the Sporty & Rich founder shared in an Instagram post. Crafted with a textured blue upper, the show features a mix of nylon, suede and leather, complete with a white Sporty & Rich logo with the classic three stripes. Yellow hits arrive at the shoe’s heel, three-stripe branding and outsole, alongside appearing across the inner lining.

“Endlessly thankful to adidas and their belief in us as a brand. Not sure what I did to deserve this life but I’m living my mother f***** dreammmmmm and couldn’t be more proud or happy of what we’ve accomplished and the opportunities I’m given,” Oberg continued in her post.
