GANNI and Paloma Elsesser's Size-Inclusive Collection Is On the Way
First teased on the runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
First teased on the runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2023, GANNI and Paloma Elsesser‘s size-inclusive collection finally has an official release date. Centered around inclusivity and empowerment, the collection celebrates Elsesser’s longstanding relationship with the Danish fashion brand, following her GANNI runway debut back in 2020.
“Paloma is a dream girl. Her style is unmatched and she serves as such an inspiration to the industry and women around the world,” says Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup in a press release. Debuting as part of the brand’s SS24 collection, the new capsule consists of four dresses and three trousers, each inspired by the tactility of trees and the vibrant textures of nature.
“We are honoured to partner with Paloma on this capsule. We first met back in 2020 when she closed our GANNI 2020 show, and I was instantly drawn to her extremely warm character. She has such magnetic energy. Our collective vision for this collaboration is to empower individuals of all shapes and sizes by offering thoughtful, elevated styles. Paloma is a true voice of change in an industry that is playing catch up. We can’t wait to share this project with the world,” continues Reffstrup.
Adding to that excitement, Elsesser adds: “As we continue to embrace diversity and the expression of self through fashion, my collaboration with GANNI represents a powerful step towards a more size-inclusive and empowering fashion future. Our shared vision of inclusivity but most importantly confidence introduces our collection that aims to inspire curiosity and self-acceptance. I’m truly excited to share this with you all.”
