Naked dressing is nothing new — hello, sheer dresses — and it seems the hype will live on, if the 2024 Met Gala red carpet is anything to go by. Many (and we do mean many) of the celebs in attendance wore, in some cases, not much. Where normally the red carpet is one for heavy gowns and dramatic coverups, this year there was a parade of delicate constructions and see-through gowns: mesh, lace and beads allowing for flashes of skin and an unfiltered appreciation of the female form. This much we know: daring designs are here to stay.
