Add These 5 Out-Of-The-Box, Spring Nail Designs To Your Inspo Board

Designed by NYC nail tech, KimtheProduct.

Spring has sprung and it’s time to upgrade your nail game with new and innovative designs like 3D charms, hand-painted pictures, bubble textures and more.

New York City nail tech and aficionado KimberLee Cano’s, a.k.a. Kim The Product’s nail designs are what Pinterest inspiration boards are made of, from sea-inspired claws to short, delicious dessert-inspired styles. Cano’s unique eye, skill and creativity are on par to track this spring and summer’s trendiest and most innovative designs.

Ahead of Hypebeast Flea New York on May 18 and 19, powered by Depop, where KimtheProduct will be selling her gorgeous press-on nail designs, we’ve rounded up five of her most out-of-the-box designs for you to add to your spring and summer inspiration boards.

 Sea Nails

There’s vacation nails and then there’s this starfish manicure masterpiece. Inspired by a client’s upcoming trip, KimtheProduct depicted the entire oceanscape on her fingers. She explains that 3D art is her specialty and she wanted to bring that to life through the raised starfish and colored gems that resemble sea rocks. The base of the nail includes an opaque blue color and a tan-like shimmer that’s meant to resemble sand and how the sun glistens on the water.

3D Bubble Garden Nails

Florals are a mainstay for spring nail designs and KimtheProduct considers her rendition to be a new and elevated upgrade. They feature encapsulated 3D flowers, hand painting and texture bubbles. KimtheProduct also explains that garden nails are all about playing with nature, greenery and “fairy-core,” adding in whimsical elements like different flower styles, gems and raised or textured elements.

Mood Board Nails

If you’re indecisive or a maximalist, give mood board nails a try. This style consists of telling a unique story through different designs across each individual finger. The below mood board nails are dedicated to KimtheProduct’s homeland, the Dominican Republic, in which she conceptualized her 10 favorite things. The nails showcase popular food like plantains, beautiful blue beaches and the country’s National Coat of Arms. KimtheProduct says that individuality and culture are in for spring and the best way to ensure that your next set is unique to you is by creating a personalized story right on the tips of your fingers.

Dessert Nails

This style is where the Kawaii aesthetic meets a sweet treat to bring forth this spring dessert nail trend. These handmade charms feature delicious bites like strawberries, pie and cupcakes. KimtheProduct says this style is another way to ensure that your next set is one-of-a-kind and features some of your favorite treats. Be sure to flaunt this set at your ice cream date this summer.

Nature Nails

Originally designed with Pisces season in mind, this set is another nature-inspired style featuring a pond scene and beautiful bright orange hand-painted koi fish and lily pads. This spring, instead of only taking in the beautiful scenery that warm weather offers, bring it to life on your next set as well. From gorgeous ponds to blooming gardens and rich green forests, you can bring the beauty of nature right to your fingertips.
