Converse x Isabel Marant Is The Indie Sleaze Revival We Needed
Isabel Marant puts its mid ’00s Parisian touch on Converse classics.
With the resurgence of the indie sleaze era, everyone is dying to get their hands on a pair of the “Beckett” sneakers. Yes, Isabel Marant‘s classic wedge sneakers, seen on Gisele Bündchen, Kate Moss, Beyonce and off-duty models in paparazzi photos back in the mid ’00s.
Now, the brand is taking things up a notch with a collaboration that just makes sense: teaming up with beloved heritage sneaker brand Converse. This capsule features the brand’s unique spin on Converse classics like the “Chuck 70s,” “Hi Tops,” “Chuck 70 Ox” and “Low Tops,” all infused with subtle yet unmistakable Isabel Marant DNA. The shoes come in a fuzzy, distressed black and white color with a pink and purple combination lace.
Mark your calendars — this must-have collaboration drops on September 12 and will be available on both Converse and Isabel Marant online sites.
